Acceptance

Access to the fontealta.it website and its pages (hereinafter “the Site”) and its use constitute full acceptance of these Terms. Anyone who does not intend to accept them is invited not to use the Site. Rubinetteria F&F L’Artigiana S.r.l. (hereinafter “Fontealta” or “the Company”) may amend these Terms at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page with the date of last update. In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions of the Site, the Italian version prevails.

Nature of the Site

The Site has informational purposes and presents Fontealta products. The Site is not an online shop: it does not allow purchases, does not display prices to the public and does not constitute an offer to the public within the meaning of art. 1336 of the Italian Civil Code. The information published, including product descriptions, finishes, images and any technical characteristics, is of an indicative nature. For every supply, only the commercial offer and the order confirmation issued by the Company, and the official catalogues and price lists in the version in force, are authoritative.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site is owned by Fontealta or its licensors and is protected by Italian and international rules on copyright, trade marks and design. This includes, by way of example: texts, photographs, renders and images, videos, drawings, technical data sheets, catalogues and price lists, the Site’s code, the Fontealta trade mark, the monogram, the names of the collections published on the Site and the model codes.

Fontealta products, their design and their shapes are conceived exclusively by the Company. The reproduction, copying, imitation, counterfeiting or use, even partial, of products, designs, trade marks and names without the Company’s written consent is prohibited.

Consultation of the Site and the printing or saving of individual pages for personal, non-commercial use is permitted, provided that each copy retains the indication of the source and the references to intellectual property. Any other use, and in particular the reproduction of product images on third-party websites, catalogues, marketplaces or materials, requires the Company’s written authorisation, to be requested at info@fontealta.it.

Any third-party trade marks, names and logos mentioned on the Site (including the names of finishes, technical standards such as AISI and RAL, trade fairs and technology providers) belong to their respective owners.

Permitted use

The user undertakes to use the Site in accordance with the law and these Terms. In particular, it is prohibited to: systematically extract or collect content, images or data from the Site (scraping, unauthorised crawling, mass downloading); introduce viruses, malicious code or interfere with the operation of the Site or of the infrastructure hosting it; use the contact form for automated, advertising or otherwise unrelated submissions; circumvent the Site’s technical protection measures.

Exclusion of warranties and limitation of liability

Fontealta takes care over the accuracy of the Site’s content but does not guarantee that it is free of errors, complete or updated at all times; it reserves the right to amend it without notice. Product characteristics may vary without notice; finish colours reproduced on screen are indicative and may differ from the actual product. Fontealta does not guarantee that the Site is always accessible or free of interruptions.

To the extent permitted by law, Fontealta is not liable for direct or indirect damage arising from the use or impossibility of use of the Site, from reliance on the information contained in it, or from interruptions, errors, viruses or unauthorised access, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Links to third-party websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example social media profiles, trade fair websites, partners). Such websites are not controlled by Fontealta, which is not responsible for their content, their privacy policies or their operation. Anyone wishing to insert a link to the Site may do so to the home page or to individual pages, without framing them and without implying a non-existent association or endorsement.

Contact form and enquiries

Enquiries sent through the contact form are processed as indicated in the privacy notice. A response by the Company to an enquiry does not constitute a contractual commitment until it is formalised in an offer or an order confirmation.

Applicable law and competent court

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute relating to the Site and to these Terms, the Court of Lucca has exclusive jurisdiction, save for the mandatory jurisdiction provided for by law for consumers.

This notice describes how the personal data of users who consult the Site and use its contact form is processed, pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Italian Legislative Decree 101/2018.

Data controller

The data controller may be contacted for any request concerning personal data at the details indicated above. The Company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the legal requirements for doing so are not met.

Data collected and purposes

Contact form. First name, surname, email, telephone number (optional), company (optional) and type of enquiry, chosen from quote, consultation, catalogue request and other. Purpose: to respond to requests for information and quotations. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and the data controller’s legitimate interest in responding (art. 6.1.f).

Technical browsing data. IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, processed by hosting and distribution providers for the operation and security of the Site (protection against attacks, diagnostics). Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f). This data is not used to identify the user.

Usage statistics. The Site may use a statistics service that does not employ cookies or persistent identifiers and produces aggregated and anonymous data (pages visited, country, device). This does not constitute profiling and no consent is required.

The Site does not provide for public account registration, does not carry out marketing, newsletter or profiling activities and does not make automated decisions. No consent is required for such purposes. The provision of data marked as mandatory in the form is necessary to follow up on the request; without it, the request cannot be processed.

Recipients and data processors

The data may be processed, on behalf of the data controller, by suppliers appointed as data processors pursuant to art. 28 GDPR:

• ·Vercel Inc.: hosting and web infrastructure
• ·Sanity AS: content management (CMS)
• ·Zapier Inc.: forwarding to the data controller of enquiries sent through the contact form
• ·Cloudflare Inc.: hosting and distribution of videos

The Contact page embeds a Google Maps map, provided by Google Ireland Ltd.: when the map loads, Google receives technical browsing data, including the IP address, and processes it in accordance with its own privacy notice.

The data may also be accessed by Company personnel authorised to process it and, where necessary, by consultants, resellers or area agents in order to follow up on the request, within the limits of the purpose. The data is not disseminated or transferred to third parties for their own purposes.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

Some suppliers, including Google for the map on the Contact page, are based in the United States or transfer data there. Transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to artt. 44-49 GDPR: Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, the supplier’s adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A copy of the safeguards may be requested from the data controller.

Retention period

The data collected through the contact form is retained for the time necessary to handle the request and, in any case, for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, save for different legal obligations or the establishment of a contractual relationship, in which case the retention periods provided for commercial and tax documentation apply. Technical browsing data is retained by the suppliers for the time strictly necessary for security purposes, generally not exceeding 30 days.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject may exercise at any time the rights provided for by artt. 15-22 GDPR: access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests should be sent to info@fontealta.it. The data controller responds within one month, extendable in the cases provided for by law.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority) (www.gpdp.it) if they believe that the processing of their data infringes the GDPR, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Security

The data controller adopts technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control to the CMS, qualified suppliers bound by agreements pursuant to art. 28 GDPR, protections against automated submissions on the contact form.

Amendments

This notice may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page with the date of last update.

This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Site uses, pursuant to art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Guidelines of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority) of 10 June 2021.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user’s device in order to function correctly or to collect information. They are divided into technical cookies, necessary for the operation and provision of the service requested by the user, for which no consent is required, and profiling or third-party cookies for marketing purposes, which require prior consent.

Cookies used by the Site

The Site exclusively uses technical and functional cookies. It does not use profiling, marketing or third-party cookies for such purposes, and does not transfer data to third parties for such purposes. Accordingly, pursuant to the Guidelines of the Garante, no prior consent is required and no consent banner is present.

• ·NEXT_LOCALE: stores the language of the pages visited, to show content in the correct language. Duration: session. Purpose: functional. First party.
• ·Content preview cookies (__prerender_bypass, sanity-preview-perspective): set only for Site administrators while editing content in the CMS. Duration: session. Purpose: technical. First party.

Usage statistics

For usage statistics, the Site may adopt a service that does not employ cookies or persistent identifiers and does not collect identifying personal data (aggregated data on pages visited, country, device). No consent is therefore required.

Third-party content

The Contact page embeds a Google Maps map. In the configuration adopted by the Site, the map does not set cookies (checked on 16 September 2026); it does, however, receive technical browsing data, as described in the privacy notice. Should Google change this behaviour, a consent banner will be activated before the map loads.

The videos on the Site are distributed by Cloudflare Inc. without cookies. The Site does not embed any other third-party widgets or scripts, from social networks or advertising platforms. Any links to third-party websites (social media, trade fairs, partners) lead to websites that apply their own cookie policies.

How to manage cookies

The user may block or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may compromise certain functionalities of the Site, such as the memory of the language. Instructions are available in the guides for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Updates

This cookie policy may be updated over time; changes will be published on this page. Should analytics tools using cookies or profiling tools be introduced in the future, a compliant consent banner will be activated before they load.

Pursuant to art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (“AI Act”), Fontealta informs that:

• ·Images. Some setting images published on the Site are generated using artificial intelligence tools starting from the official renders of Fontealta products. Photographs of the products, of the plant and of people are not artificially generated. The products depicted correspond to the actual products; settings and colours are for illustrative purposes.
• ·No interactive system. The Site does not use conversational assistants, chatbots, emotion recognition systems or biometric categorisation systems.
